  17. Has anyone compiled C-Kermit version 7.0 or the new 8.0 beta on
  18. BeOS version 5.0 with a binary that can be FTPed from the net?
  19. I'm using BeOS 5.0 Personal Edition, which has no room for the
  20. developer tools in the 512meg file space. I found an old
  21. binary for Ckermit at the columbia site for version 4.5, but
  22. it doesn't recognize the modem device; it's now at
  23. /dev/ports/seria1 instead of /dev/tt, and the old
  24. binary doesn't support Telnet sessions.
